MY FIRST VISIT TO CAPE TOWN SINCE 1997!!

My blog is actually sharing all my work of art but I have decided to add a bit more personal matters also here, starting with my first visit to Cape Town since 1997!  My daughter, Nanje, has made this all possible to invite me for a week holiday to Cape Town where she now lives since September 2018.  She booked me a flight also which I really appreciates as I can't afford such flights.  And what makes this also much more exciting is that this flight is the first since 1990 - thus 29 years since I was flying in an airplane!  I was quite nervous but the whole flight was such a wonderful experience.  The whole flight crew of Kulula was just awesome by giving me a VIP treatment once they know I had no fly trips for so many years!  Even during the flight all the air hostesses asked me how I was doing during the time of the flight.  I will most definitely recommend them to many people!  Here are photos which I took before and during the flight from O.R,Tambo airport (Johannesburg) down to Cape Town International Airport. My holiday runs from 17 August 2019 - 25 August 2019.

I am going to post images of my holiday experience daily.

17 AUGUST 2019 (KULULA FLIGHT):

O.R. Tambo Airport - Kulula office where I have waited until someone escorted me right into the cockpit area of the aircraft.  How special this was not to sit with the other passengers in the departure hall! :)

Head air hostess on duty:

Chantal, air hostess who meet me and took me to my seat.  She is holding my air ticket!  She was absolutely fantastic and very kind and friendly, has even demonstrated the safety drill herself to me which is normally done during the flight to all the passengers.  I am the first passenger on board! How special this is!

Chantal took the selfie with my smartphone!  How awesome!
